Nightbird Field Notes is a small operational notebook maintained alongside our edge experiments. We write down choices that are easy to forget: limits, failure modes, recovery steps and observations that changed a design.

What we test

Our experiments focus on modest virtual machines and ordinary public networks. That constraint rewards bounded memory, conservative defaults and services that remain legible when something goes wrong.

What we publish

Only general engineering notes appear here. The site has no accounts, analytics, advertising, remote fonts or third-party scripts.
